Booking Through Thursday

What book would you love to be able to read again for the first time?

btt button

I'd have to say the Black Jewels Trilogy by Anne Bishop.

1. Daughter of the Blood
2. Heir to the Shadows
3. Queen of the Darkness

I have reread them, and yes they hold that same mesmerizing spell but I know what's going to happen next.

There are other books that I experienced a well of emotions while reading that I would love to relive those feelings. One that stands out was Voice of Crow by Jerri Smith-Ready. It's the second book in another amazing trilogy. I've seen Harry Potter listed, and yes, I would love to experience those books for the first time again :). I just love them. One more would be Lover Eternal. I was was taken with Rhage and how he was with Mary.

What about you, is there a book that you wish you could read for the first time again?

OOh..this is a good question. I would love to for the first time again - Faefever by Karen Marie Moning, Lover Revealed by JR Ward, and Outlander by Diana Gabaldon.

Good Morning Amy:

Excellent Post! I would have to say "Wicked Burn" and "Daring Time", by Beth Kery. As far as books I read earlier in my life, probably Outlander and Dragonfly In Amber by Diana Gabaldon. :)

There are others but those are the ones that immediately come to mind.

Warm Regards
L

I would have to say The Darkest Night by Gena Showalter or Pleasure Unbound by Larissa Ione or Kiss of Midnight by Lara Adrian - oh I could go on and on.

Hi Mandi! Faefever, you say? Hmm, maybe I do need to read that series of hers. I love her Highlanders. I think I need to just get the first one!

Good Morning to you too, Lea :). I still have Daring Time to read, but I'm going to wait until after I have her sign it at Lori Foster's!

Hi Greta :), Pleasure Unbound was a great book! I still need to read the third one of hers. Thanks for your comment. It is definitely a question that you could go on and on with.

Hey Blodueudd, Yes, I am booking through thursday! And why aren't you? :P

Honestly there are so many I would love to read again for the first time!! Narrowing it down I would say Kiss of the Highlander by KMM, Colters' Woman by Maya Banks and Mackenzie's Mountain by Linda Howard. I know there are more but these three are way way up on the list!!

Black Jewels is a good choice. The second book is my favorite.
I have Harry Potter on my list. But not Rhage's book though I really liked it. I would like to read Lover Awakened for the first time again. That whole series would be a good choice to start over will. There is so much going on and being able to read strat through all the books for the first time would be great.

Here is a couple I would pick:

Sherrilyn Kenyon's Night Play
J.R. Ward's Lover Awakened
Kim Harrison's Dead Witch Walking

I would love to have Slave to Sensation and the whole Psy/Changeling series by Nalini Singh to read again for the first time, not the same with rereads...

Oh Blanche, yes, Kiss of the Highlander. There are some really great moments from that one I'd love to experience for the first time ago...especially when Gwen locks him in the garderobe and the inadvertantly binds them together. That was such a great moment. I need to reread that one. I love The Dark Highlander too. Those are my two faves! Aww, heck, I love them all!

Hey Kilina :) I agree, the whole BDB series would be so wonderful to reread again for the first time!

Anna, Night Play was a really great one. That's another series I would love to read for the first time again!

Hi Eva, that is another great, fantastic series to reread for the first time! I love that series too. There are so many good ones!

BTW, Mandi, I stopped in Borders this afternoon and picked up the first Fever book!

ok so I'm trying this through IE and seeing if that will work, Amy! Don't Laugh! lol

Anyway....I think the BJT would be my choice for reading for a first time as well. It would be incredible to visit that world for the first time again.

You can't see me, so you can't tell if I'm laughing or not!! Oh but it is so nice to see that it worked!

I'm glad you think the same about about the BJT! Just amazing.

I too would love to re-read the first CROW book of Jeri-Ready Smith. I do have the third one here to read now. I'd too love to re-read ANNIE'S SONG by Catherine Anderson and SILENT MELODY by Mary Balogh. I did get to re-read PRIDE & PREJUDICE, the first time since HS, the beginning of this month and it was so wonderful to do that!

Hey Caffey :), how are you? Always nice to see another who loves the Aspect of Crow books. The third one is so good. It brings everything together with the Ilions and the invasion, and it is just awesome! I've heard good things about Annie's Song. I added it to my wishlist. One day I'll get it. I'm sure it is one I will love!

Hi Amy, I love love Under Fire. Ms. Davis did a really good job introducing us to a virgin firefighter. Gawd, can that be any hotter. Anywho, the biggest problem I have is to either buy a new shelf or stop buying books. Buying a new shelf is hard cause I need to figure out where I am able to place it. Thanks for the compliment. I have a hard time keeping up with new books. So when I do update what I read no one comes to my site cause they've read the review already. Any suggestions? I need readers.

Thanks for stopping by

Ugh! Ignore my previous post! I was working on a blog post and someone erased everything I wrote in comments here.

Anyway, as I was saying, I totally agree about the Black Jewels books. What a revelation. I'd also have to go with "The DaVinci Code" & "Angels & Demons". I found them to be highly entertaining, and didn't even care about the clunky writing. I was just fascinated by the puzzles in the storylines.

This is a good question *ponders...looks at bookshelves*

hhhmmm

nah, not that one....no not that one either LOL

then reaches treasure-trove-shelf LOL

I would love to read these again for the first time:

C.L. Wilson - Lord Of The Fading Lands along with Lady Of Light And Shadow as they were written as one book.

Elizabeth Vaughan - Warprize

J.R. Ward - Dark Lover

Karen Moning - The Immortal Highlander

Chris Owen - Bareback

Shannon McKenna - Behind Closed Doors

Kresley Cole - No Rest For The Wicked

and the BJ trilogy of Bishop, just to name a few lol

Hugs,
Leontine

Hi Stacy,
I have not read the Dan Brown books. My husband did and he loved them. Maybe someday!

Leontine! You have some great books listed. CL Wilson is just awesome! That is one series that would be great for a second first time. I only just read Warprize and I loved it. LOVED the end. I have the next two to read soon!

I Heart Book Gossip,
So glad to hear you enjoyed Under Fire! It was pretty darn hot, their first scene together, thankfully not awkward! I hear you, I'm running out of room for more shelves in my book room. I have a few more places, but after that I don't know!
