Thanks you guys. Both my husband and my step dad are veterans and a really close friend of mine's nephew is in Iraq now. He's actually getting ready to come home for a 15 day leave.

That's okay, Blodueudd :).

Happy Memorial Day Amy!

We are celebrating and honoring all the men and women who serve past and present, including my Dad (25 years served in the Army and a vet of WWII and the Korean War) and my Father-in-law (who was a medic in WWII).

In Canada, our 'Memorial' Day is November 11 and is called Rememberance Day.
Whichever day it's held on - it should be honoured for those brave souls who have fought and still are fighting for us.
