Success!

(Me and the Old Man!)

Christmas was a huge success in our house this year! The presents, dinner, family time--I couldn't have asked for a better turn-out!

One of Devin's gifts was Scene it for his X-Box, and what a fun game! We've all played it the last two nights. Devin gets a little frustrated but Shawn, he kicks movie trivia ass! He's won every game so far. I can win a round, but that's as far as it goes.

I hope you all had a nice wonderful Christmas too. Now it's the countdown to the New Year. You know I did a little research regarding our modern day calendar and how it came about. Very interesting indeed. You can read one of the articles here, if you're interested. I had no idea!

Here are a few pictures from our Christmas :)!

Yup! That's my dog! He gets right up under the tree, searching for his presents too :)! He sniffs out his toys. It's the funniest thing and he's never opened one of Devin's.

This is my pussy cat, Sneakers. She's going to be 14 this coming October. She got a herself a catnip mouse and new blanket :).

The Loot!

Devin, me and my mom :).

Wow, so many presents! I know I didn't receive as much. LOL Love the pic of your cat, Amy, so cuddly!

And yes, I'm also counting down to New Year, new beginning, new life, new everything! :)

Happy 2010! May there be more good books and more time to read them.

Sounds like a great holiday :D
I am glad everything went fine, and I see the kitty is enjoying her presents

I have overdosed on candy, and it is too cold to go outside and walk, lol

Hi Silver,
99% of the presents were my son's :). But me, hubby and my mom got some nice stuff too!

And my kitty is so cuddly too. She's so spoiled.

And happy 2010 to you too! I sure hope most of the books I'm anticipating turn out to be well worth the wait! I read some amazing books this year and hope for the same next year :D.

Hi Blodeuedd!
I'm feeling it too! I had a big plate of leftovers for lunch a little while ago. Ugh! I have that overfull feeling again :D, but it sure did taste good!
My kitty certainly has been enjoying her new toy the last few days!

The best thing is when you are all together and you were - so everything else will just fall into place...

As you said - now it's the countdown to the New Year.....

Continue to enjoy the season my dear..

Hi Amy! I love the photo glimpses into your family's Christmas. I'm so happy that you guys--right down to the family pets--had such a wonderful day.

Enjoy the countdown to the New Year! I know you're not so much the night owl. Do you manage to stay awake to midnight on New Year's Eve?

All the best!

Thanks, Lori! Wishing the same for you and your family :D.

Hi E.H.,
You are so right! The best thing was just being together :). I hope you have a wonderful new year too!

Hey Christine,
You made me laugh! Ummm, no. I can't tell you the last New Year I was actually awake for :D. I think it might have been when I was pregnant with Devin. We went to a friends house. I gave up trying to stay awake years ago! I'm lucky to stay up until 10. Two more hours? That just seems like forever! LOL

All of you look great and so happy!

We get get gifts for our pets also, and they have come to expect one. Isn't funny how they learn about gifts under the Christmas tree as quick as the children do?

Merry Christmas!

What a cozy set of holiday pics, Amy! It looks like everyone(dogs and cats included) had a wonderful time!
We had soem power outages with the blizzard that hit over Wed-Saturday, so it was great to play games;) I havent laughed that hard in a long time! The greatest gift--and I know you agree, Amy--is having family safe and sound.

Now three days to New Years! How crazy is that?!

Hope your New Year is especially wonderful and warm like you, Amy and to all blessings o' plenty!
